Making Gifts to Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors
The mission of Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors is to provide a stimulating community experience by creating sustainable, outstanding opportunities for social, intellectual and volunteer experiences, while providing care and support to those we serve throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Center programs include education, health screenings, exercise and wellness programs, travel, social activities, computer training, hot lunches and volunteer opportunities. Not only does the center assist you in your everyday life, it also sets as a background for new friendships to begin and existing ones to flourish.
Maple Knoll Communities is a leader in senior care, providing services and programs to older adults in the community that allow them the ability to age with the grace and dignity they deserve. Maple Knoll Communities impacts the lives of over 4,000 older adults through the retirement communities of Maple Knoll Village and the Knolls of Oxford, Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors, three affordable HUD Senior Living Residences, Maple Knoll Home Health Services, WMKV 89.3 & 89.9 FM Radio Station, Maple Knoll Montessori Child Center, and the Hemsworth Wellness Center.
Fundraising efforts are necessary to sustain these programs and help older adults lead happy, active and healthy lives. Annual gifts cover necessary costs that older adults on restricted incomes are unable to cover. Their lives are enhanced by the generosity of our annual donors. Last year alone, Maple Knoll Communities provided over $4.7 million in uncompensated care expenses to older adults in the community.
Gifts to Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors allow us to serve as a foundation for older adults to live their lives with independence and dignity for as long as possible in their own homes. Last year alone, the Meals on Wheels program served 265 clients per month which accounted for 72,986 meals delivered to individuals in 17 communities. The transportation program provided services for 75 clients per month equaling 4,890 trips reaching over 51,097 miles. With the demand for services increasing, Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors will rely on fundraising efforts to expand the numbers of individuals served in our community.
If you would like to continue this rich tradition, consider a personal way you can offer support. Your gift will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve, and it may benefit you by providing a charitable deduction, tax savings, income for life and the satisfaction of helping those in need. Five ways in which you can make a difference:
Annual Fund:
Make regular gifts either at the same time each year or on a monthly basis in smaller amounts to fit your budget. Annual Fund requests are mailed each year to supporters throughout the TriState. Volunteers help us follow-up requests with phone calls. Annual Fund donations are recognized at special events and in our Annual Report donor listing.
Planned Gifts:
Consider donating stock, including us in your trust or estate plan, naming Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors as beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan, gifting real property or art. We can assist you in gift planning. Each gift is unique and requires special attention. We recommend that you contact your planning professional and then call our office to discuss Planned Gifts. Our staff has more than 50 years of experience in planning gifts.
Living Legacy Society:
Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors has a planned giving society recognizing donors who have included us in their estate plan or who have made cumulative gifts totaling $50,000 in their lifetime. The recognition displays are a lasting testament to the importance of ensuring a solid fiscal future for our organization.
Corporate Partnerships:
Did you know that Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors receives matching gifts from companies that our donors either currently work at or have retired from? Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees, retirees and/or employees' spouses. Often these donations could be matched dollar for dollar! To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please call Michelle Zeis at 513.782.8629. Thank you for your continued support!
Sponsorship Agreements:
Companies who enter into Sponsorship Agreements with Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors realize benefits ranging from direct acknowledgement, event recognition, publication recognition and more.
Any of these opportunities is available to you, all you need to do is contact:
